Service Description Associated Costs
‘yes’ Time Talk for free every night, for the first 20 minutes per call, between 8pm and Midnight 7 days a week. Calls must be made, from your AUSTAR GSM Mobile to another AUSTAR GSM mobile (excludes GSM Cap plans activated before 1st May 2007 and after 6th May 2010) or Optus Mobile Digital within Australia. After the first 20 minutes, applicable call rates apply. 'yes' Time is not available for Analogue, CDMA, Optus Pre-Paid, Optus CDMA or MobileSat customers. 'yes' Time is a special promotion subject to Optus Fair Go policy. Valid until May 6 2010. Free every night for the first 20 minutes per call, between 8pm and Midnight 7 days a week. After the first 20 minutes, applicable call plan rates apply.  
124YES Simply dial 124937 or 124927 and a 124YES operator will instantly connect you to almost any publicly listed directory number in Australia (excluding 0055, 1900, 1800, 13 and 1300 numbers). $1.10 per operator answered call plus your applicable call rate.  
1300 & 13 numbers Calls to some 13 services from regional areas may result in your call being routed to a capital city rather than to your closest regional centre. You will be charged for that call.  
966 Voice Content Service Allows you to connect to the Optus Zoo Voice Portal for the latest news & information and ringtone downloads. Calls to the 966 service will be charged at 30 cents per 30 seconds for the duration of the call. Please note: Additional charges apply for content selections and downloads. These costs will apply irrespective of whether the download is successful or not.
Call Diversion Provides you with the flexibility to choose when and where you answer your AUSTAR Mobile phone. Within Australia: 5.5 cents per 30 secs Overseas: 5.5 cents + international call rates
Call Hold / Call Wait Ensures you never miss an important call, allows you to switch between two calls. No Charge

Voicemail Deposit Enable a message to be left on your voicemail service. (CAP plans activated after May 6 2010 receive free voicemail deposits). Within Australia: 5.5 cents per 30 secs Overseas: 5.5 cents + international call rates
Voicemail Retrieval Lets you pick up any messages that were left when your phone is busy, unanswered or switched off. Flat Rate: 14 cents per 30 sec

International Direct Dial Calls - IDD Use your AUSTAR Mobile phone to make an International call, just as you would from a fixed phone. International call charges from within Australia comprise of Optus International Standard rates charge per 30 seconds or part thereof, anytime, any day, plus 27.0 cents per call (excludes Mobilesat) Please contact AUSTAR Mobile Customer Service on 132 592 for International Call (IDD) activation.
International Roaming Keep you in touch with friend’s, family & colleagues while travelling overseas with your AUSTAR Mobile phone. AUSTAR recommends you contact AUSTAR Mobile several weeks prior to departure to ensure activation may occur. Please contact AUSTAR Mobile Customer Service on 132 592 for activation & roaming rates.

Service Description Associated Costs
SMS and Web SMS
The quick and easy way to send and received text messages sent using your mobile handset. Message sent: 25 cents per message per recipient. Overseas: 35 cents per message per recipient.
MMS and Web MMS
The ability to send images, sound, extended text and video (handset dependant) to other MMS handsets, legacy handsets and email addresses. Standard MMS: 50 cents per recipient. International MMS: 75 cents per recipient.
WAP over CSD Enables WAP capable mobile phones, to access Internet based WAP pages via CSD (Circuit Switched Data). This connection works more like a dial up connection with a transmission speed of 9.6kbps. Weekend* Rate (7pm Friday until 7am Monday): 5.5 cents + a Flag Fall of 16.5 cents / Weekday* Rate: 16.5 cents + a Flag Fall of 16.5 cents.
WAP over GPRS Enables WAP capable mobile phones, to access Internet based WAP pages via GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) which is a much faster system, transmitting speeds of between 20-30 kbps and can be up to 115.2kbps (handset dependent). Flat Rate 2.2 cents ($0.022) per kb with no flagfall.
For CAP plans activated after 6th May 2010, refer to below charges:-
Flat Rate 0.15 cents ($0.0015) per kb with no flagfall.
Wireless Internet Using a GPRS compatible handset as a modem to access the internet on the Optus mobile network. Connection can be made with the handset via cable, infrared or bluetooth to a PDA or a computer/laptop to the Internet. There is no need a set up with an ISP as the GPRS service provides direct access to the Internet. Flat Rate 0.55 cents ($0.0055) per kb (including GST) with no flagfall.

Service Description Associated Costs
Change to another plan Customers can have 2 free plan changes in their 24 month contract. Customers are only allowed one change per month and can only do so after 1 month from the date of original connection. Plan changes can never be to a lower value than the one started on unless the customer is out of contract. Any promotions/bonus associated with existing plans are forfeited if moved to a new family of plans. $5.50 Including GST - per plan change
